Palms – one of the top-notch names in the hotel industry had their website revamped completely. Ephlux ensured that the revamped website matched exactly what Palms had envisioned for its website!
The Palms is a hotel and residential tower located near the LasVegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The Palms has 653 rooms and suites and contains a 95,000 sq ft (8,800 m2) casino, a recording studio, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and a 2,500 seat concert theater.
Despite the fact that it is located off the Strip, the resort has become a popular destination for many, especially with younger people, Hollywood actors, and celebrities. The Palms competes for market share with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, another off-strip resort aimed toward the 21-39 demographic. Both resorts are styled in a modern, neo-retro fashion.
The Hugh Hefner Sky Villa, billed at US$35,487 per night, is listed at number 5 on the World’s 15 Most Expensive Hotel Suites compiled by CNN Go in March of 2012. The Sky Villas have played host to numerous celebrities.
Ephlux was selected by Palms to completely revamp Palms website (Palms.com) using WordPress. Ephlux provided web maintenance and support both during and after the ‘go-live’. During the engagement, Ephlux worked closely with Greg Cannon – Director, e-Commerce and the social-media and call-center teams to ensure a smooth transition from the old website to the new one.
