Swift was a must-have. It was a requirement that we had when we were looking for a mobile solution for JD Edwards, and we do not allow JD Edwards to be open externally. So, you’ve got to be on a network or you’ve got to have another means to be able to get to that data securely — and Swift was able to do that via proxy. It also makes it a lot easier for the end user because it’s like they’re in the network; they don’t have to connect to a VPN. That is another must-have, because once they have an issue, then you’re going to see people falling off and just not trusting the platform. So, as easy as possible is what we were looking for.

We were looking for something that was gonna be easy for us to implement quickly and to maintain with the resources that we had… Ephlux has delivered on every single one of them. The information that we were capturing on the Swift app flowed into JD Edwards exactly like it did in the legacy application. It was a fantastic solution for us that Ephlux was able to deliver to us in a fraction of the time I think it would have taken for us to develop this without it.

Swift allows Emirates Flight Catering to quickly create and deploy mobile apps across multiple functions integrated with our ERP system using no-code capabilities. After the original set of apps, now our IT team is building apps fully on our own!
