Third largest crushed stone operation in US, entrusts Ephlux to delight its Customers

The customer commissioned Ephlux to develop an HTML5 based multi-platform app to update its customers/truckers of their orders and empower its sales force with up-to-date Sales Analytics.

Major Florida provider of high-quality DOT-certified crushed limestone (limerock) aggregates and screenings for road construction, asphalt pavement, and ready-mix concrete products. the company is one of the three top producing crushed-stone quarries in the United States.

Problem

The company wanted to provide their customers and haulers an up-to-date status on their orders and empower their sales force with close to real-time Sales Analytics.

 

The need was for an integrated solution that can provide customers and haulers with self-service options to keep a tap on their order history and order statuses. The solution also needed to have built-in sales analytics for the salesforce. Based on Ephlux’s multiple success stories and strong experience with CRM and customer portal applications and integration with the backend ERP applications, the quarry selected Ephlux to deliver an integrated solution.

Solution

Ephlux worked closely with customer’s business analysts to finalize the functional specs and UX for the applications and translated them into technical design and solution architecture. Ephlux designed and developed a fully functional solution within a few months.

 

The solution utilized HTML5 based responsive multi-platform technologies to provide a solution that was fully integrated with the backend enterprise application to provide a complete solution. The solution has since been rolled out enterprise wide across the company’s multiple customer groups.
